Our promise

Support, built in from day one

You do not need a diagnosis, and you only share what you are comfortable with. Under the Equality Act 2010 we make reasonable adjustments so no one is put at a disadvantage — and we build that support in from the start.

Offered early

The right help, in plain language and at your pace — often the difference between starting and finishing.

Free & judgement-free

Every bit of support here is free, and asking for it never counts against you.

Built in from day one

A short, relaxed assessment at the start sets up the right help before you need it.

Access arrangements

Adjustments we can make

Agreed in advance, these let you show what you can really do in your exams:

Extra time
A reader
A scribe
Quiet room
Rest breaks
Large-print papers
Assistive tech
Word processor
What you can expect

Our promise to you

  • We ask about your needs early — no chasing.
  • No formal diagnosis required.
  • Everything you share stays confidential.
  • Adjustments are recorded in your learning plan.
  • Always free — asking never disadvantages you.
How it works

Getting support, in four steps

It starts the moment you enrol — and you are never on your own.

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

Mention it when you enrol, or call 01273 526996 any time. There is no wrong time to ask.

  2. 2

    Quick initial assessment

A short, relaxed check of your starting point — nothing to pass or fail.

  3. 3

    Agree your learning plan

We record your goals, support and any exam access arrangements in writing.

  4. 4

    Learn with support in place

Everything is ready for your exam, and your support stays under review.

Kerry Giles

Additional Support Specialist

Hi, I'm Kerry. I've worked within Adult Education for the past 12 years supporting learners in achieving their Apprenticeships, Maths, and English Functional Skills. I am a strong believer that by breaking down barriers within education anyone can achieve anything. I am currently studying for my Masters in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to assist me in continuing to make Adult Education accessible for all.

Your tutor

Available during every lesson — your first port of call for anything you need, big or small.

Equality, diversity & inclusion

Everyone is welcome here, exactly as they are

Online or in person, anywhere in England, you have the same right to learn somewhere welcoming, respectful and free from discrimination. Disability, additional needs, language, background, age, faith or identity never decide how far you can go.
