Course Overview
The Safeguarding and Prevent course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect vulnerable individuals and prevent radicalisation in various settings. This comprehensive course addresses key aspects of safeguarding, including the identification and management of risks, and the principles of the Prevent Duty, aimed at preventing individuals from being drawn into terrorism.
Participants will learn about safeguarding policies and procedures, recognising signs of abuse or neglect, and how to respond effectively to protect children, young people, and vulnerable adults. The course also covers the Prevent Duty, including understanding the factors that contribute to radicalisation, and how to implement measures to support individuals at risk.
By the end of this course, learners will have a thorough understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and the Prevent Duty, empowering them to contribute to a safer environment and support individuals in need.
