The Functional Skills maths course teaches practical maths for daily life, work, and education. Topics include arithmetic, fractions, percentages, ratios, measurements, and data handling. It’s suitable for entry level up to Level 2, and aims to build confidence in using maths for real-world situations. Engaging activities and exercises mirror everyday challenges to enhance your maths skills.
Functional Skills Maths will cover:
- Number: Basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Measure, Shape, and Space: Units of measurement, perimeter, area, volume, scales, time, and properties of shapes.
- Handling Data: Collecting, organising, interpreting, and representing data through graphs, charts, and tables.
