Yes. Functional Skills Maths Level 2 is recognised as equivalent to GCSE grade 4 (C) and Level 1 sits at GCSE grade 2 to 3. Both are on the government's Regulated Qualifications Framework and are accepted by most employers, apprenticeship providers and universities.
If you need the qualification for nursing, teaching, university or a job that asks for GCSE equivalent maths, you need Level 2. If you are building confidence or your apprenticeship requires Level 1, start there and progress. If you are unsure, contact us and we will help you choose before you enrol.
Yes, completely. You can join live tutor led Zoom classes or study self paced with four months of access, and you can sit the exam online from home via webcam or in person at our Brighton centre.
Tutor led courses run over 8 live sessions and self study learners often finish within a few weeks. Exam dates run throughout the year, so once you are ready you can book a date that suits you and results follow shortly after.
No. Our Level 1 and Level 2 courses include the accredited exam in the price. If you have already prepared elsewhere, you can book an exam only slot instead.
