Course Overview
The Awareness of Mental Health Problems course is designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of common mental health issues and the impact they have on individuals and society. This course aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and equip learners with the knowledge to recognise the signs and symptoms of various mental health conditions.
Participants will explore a range of mental health problems, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and eating disorders. The course covers the causes, symptoms, and potential treatments for these conditions, along with strategies for providing initial support and encouraging individuals to seek professional help. Emphasis is placed on fostering empathy, understanding, and creating supportive environments for those affected by mental health issues.
By the end of the course, learners will be better equipped to understand and respond to mental health challenges in their personal and professional lives.
