Functional Skills UK (FSUK) is proud to celebrate the international recognition of Professor Maura Sheehan, who has been named among the world’s Top 2% of Scientists (2025) in the field of Management, according to the Stanford University and Elsevier global citation rankings.

As a senior academic helping lead FSUK’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Edinburgh Napier University, Professor Sheehan is driving forward one of the U.K.’s most innovative projects exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can transform the learning journeys of neurodiverse learners.
