Vacancy full description: | Functional Skills UK are seeking an ESOL Coordinator to join our innovative team. The role will be to guide our learner’s individual journey of learning a new language so they can achieve independence and confidence within the UK. The post holder is required to provide mapping of ESOL provision, co-ordination of courses, and analysis of appropriateness, quality, and level of ESOL provision within Functional Skills UK. You will be using EDEXCEL as awarding bodies and testing through both online secure client and paper tests. Tutors will be required to work with groups as well as 1:1 delivery within the learner’s workplace and offer additional learning support if required.
Students will be a variation including ESOL workers and Apprentices, so a background in teaching English as a Second language will be beneficial. Key duties include:
