The NEET funding scheme stands for Not in Education, Employment or Training
What is the scheme?
The NEET funding scheme stands for Not in Education, Employment or Training and is aimed at young people looking to gain a new qualification whilst developing new skills to help them progress into either further education or employment. Not only will you achieve a new qualification but you will also obtain training on customer service, employability and CV preparation. To be able to offer this funding we are in partnership with Skills Training UK and the European Social Fund (ESF).
To be eligible for the NEET Dorset funding scheme, you must be:
- Aged between 16-24
- Unemployed (proof is required)
- Not in education, employment or training (students who have finished year 11 and are awaiting to start at college are eligible)
- Living in Dorset
If you are interested in completing one of the qualifications we offer, and you think you may be eligible for this funding scheme, please book onto one of our sign-up sessions below. Please note that not all of our qualifications can be funded under every funding scheme, if you have any questions about this please contact the FSUK Team.
