Functional Skills UK are looking for a motivated, passionate individual to join our exciting Functional Skills team. They will support our Functional Skills Learners in Maths, English and/or ICT, across a range of locations. This varied role will not only involve supporting the learner to achieve their required qualifications, but have meaningful interactions with them and inspire a love of learning. Being a Functional Skills tutor is a rewarding way to make a difference to the lives of people living in your community. By tutoring, you will be able to directly support disadvantaged people to build their confidence and help ensure they have the qualifications needed to build a bright future, as well as developing your own skills. Tutors will be required to work with groups as well as 1:1 and offer additional learning support if required.
The Quality and Curriculum Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality assurance and curriculum delivery at Functional Skills UK. As a part of the Management Team member, the role ensures the organisation meets regulatory and awarding body standards while maintaining high-quality teaching and learning. The postholder will lead external quality assurance visits, oversee ESOL quality and Curriculum, work in partnership with the Business Development team on curriculum planning and delivery and ensure financial expectations of Adult Skills funding contracts are met.
