COURSE DESCRIPTION
The aims of the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity are to introduce the concepts of equality and diversity in a variety of environments including society, the community and the workplace. Learners will develop their understanding of how stereotyping and labelling can affect individuals and the effects of prejudice and discrimination.
The purpose of the qualification is to allow learners to examine rights and responsibilities and stress the importance of taking individual responsibility and action to support others. The certificate will provide a basis for further study and/or career development.
CERTIFICATION
To be awarded the certificate, learners are required to successfully complete all 3 mandatory units and submit their work in the form of a portfolio. Once achieved, NCFE, the awarding body, will send the learner their certificate.
