Course description

The Cyber Security course is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills to protect information systems from cyber threats and attacks. This course covers key concepts in cyber security, including threat identification, risk management, and protective measures to safeguard data and systems.
Participants will learn about common types of cyber threats, such as malware, phishing, and ransomware, and how to implement security protocols to mitigate these risks. The course also includes practical guidance on securing networks, using encryption, and maintaining compliance with data protection regulations. Additionally, learners will explore strategies for responding to and recovering from cyber incidents.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to enhance their organisations cyber security posture and protect critical information assets against potential threats.

Delivery

The course will be completed online via our e-assessor platform. The duration of the course is seven weeks and is designed to be completed around your work and home life commitments. All deadlines for your course will be shown in your online course platform once you are enrolled to keep track.
