COURSE DESCRIPTION
This NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning Principles aims to provide learners with a range of underpinning knowledge in both generic and specialist cleaning principles and help meet the needs of learners who work or want to work in the cleaning sector.
This qualification can also act as a knowledge-based certificate within the cleaning apprenticeship framework.
The objective of this qualification is to help learners develop their knowledge and understanding of the skills required for working in the cleaning sector.
CERTIFICATION
To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning Principles learners must achieve 13 credits in total; 10 credits from the mandatory units and 3 credits from the optional units. The assessment method for the qualification is portfolio based. Once all 13 credits have been achieved, you will receive a certificate from the awarding body, NCFE.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- The 3 mandatory units:
- Unit 01: Dealing with routine and non-routine waste
- Unit 02: Health and safety for the cleaning and support services industry
- Unit 03: Working with customers and others in the cleaning and support services industry.
Learners will also need to complete another optional unit to gain the other 3 credits, there are 16 optional units available to choose from.
