AEB Uemployed Funding

If you are currently unemployed and looking to develop your skill set to progress into employment, then the Unemployed Adult Education Budget (AEB) funding scheme may be what you are looking for!

What is the scheme?

If you are currently unemployed and looking to develop your skill set to progress into employment, then the Unemployed Adult Education Budget (AEB) funding scheme may be what you are looking for! Functional Skills UK offer a wide range of their courses fully funded under this scheme, including Functional Skills Maths and English as well as our eLearning Short Courses. This funding is provided to our learners through our partnership with GBMET College, to help individuals develop and gain new qualifications.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the AEB Unemployed funding scheme, you must be:

  • Aged 19 or over
  • Employed
  • Live in a non-devolved area
  • Have lived in the UK or EU for at least 3 years
  • In receipt of one of the following benefits:
    • Job Seekers Allowance
    • Employment and Support Allowance
    • Universal Credit
    • Council Tax Benefits
    • Income Support
    • ESA (WRAG)

(please note you will be required to provide proof of the benefit(s) you are receiving in order for FSUK to claim your funding)
